Austin Texas is THE LIBERAL CITY of the state. They will keep this grevious error to themselves, after it plays out.

I would imagine the rooms will need
renovating after the refugees leave
about like the katrina crowd left the
taxpayer purchased FEMA trailers
they had south of here.
There were a bunch of them for
sale about a year later at a place
that had bought a bunch of them.
I went and looked because of the
unrealistic low price, and they
were all but ready to burn to the
ground. Holes punched and kicked
in every sheetrock wall, toilets
and sinks smashed. Broken
window glass, etc. etc.
You'd think people would be
grateful to have a dry place to
lay their heads
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

.
When my brother was forced to evacuate from Bridge City, on the Texas coast (right on the Louisiana border), he of course, travelled north, still staying within Texas.

There, he and numerous Texans, stayed at a Baptist church until the 'all clear call' came.  The Texans were respectful of the building and grounds, house cleaning each day etc.

A few miles away, a group from New Orleans city stayed at another church..  Sadly, they trashed out the place..

There were dumpsters provided, but they were not faithfully used..except when the people received donations of clothes, baby diapers etc..  Much of that new material was found in the dumpster..left there because it was not the right brand or style.
