I just picked up a NIB Ruger Blackhawk "Buckeye" and really like it. I fired 100 rnds of 10mm through it and 50 38-40. It was very accurate with the 38-40 but was not with the 10mm. The throats on the 10mm cylinder are very tight, they measure between, .398 and .399, the 38-40 measures .4015.
Since I primarily shoot 10mm and don't want to start reloading for 38-40, I want to get the throats opened up on the cylinder, what is the best size to open them up to, .401?
thanks
