DON'T do this. DUMB stunt on my part
« on: October 08, 2021, 05:07:56 AM »
I got up this morning and put on the coffee. I thought I had enough light with opening the shade on the kitchen window and didn't turn on the light since I didn't want to disturb the better half since she was still sound asleep. I managed to put the filter and coffee where it was supposed to go and fill the water tank but completely missed the fact that the empty pot was sitting on the stove and not on the coffee maker where it usually is. As the pot sits right beside the stove we now have a clean floor, clean stove, and clean everything else the stove covered up. No more making coffee with barely enough light to see by. If she wakes up that's her problem.

After a minute's though on that statement I can see where it might turn into my problem.  ;D I believe that would still be better than having to drag out the stove and clean up another mess though.

Don't feel like the lone ranger !  I have done the same before...perhaps the only difference being, I have a 2 cup coffee maker!   ;)  ;D

Yep. Count me in. The hardest thing for me is finding the little button to turn on the stove light. Wish it were a switch that I could feel.

Linda has little led plugins in wall sockets we don't use, so there's a faint light throughout the house.
In the hallway one side is blocked away from bedrooms.
You can't see me, but you'll make a helluva target.  ;)

Old saying been there done that I do turn on the lights as I am alone, where I made my mess was not putting the basket in place before adding filter and coffee. That makes a real mess.

I put all that together the night before, so all I gotta do the next morning is push the start button.

Well I’m not going to tell you guys the dumb stunt I did this morning. All I’ll say is I’m lucky I don’t have any broken bones, and I’m sore all over especially my lower back.

Well, I don't have a coffee maker machine.
But I can tell you another stunt to avoid.
If you're making a smoothie in an open top blender_ _ don't hit blend with the top off...
