Well I trapped from when I was a little boy up through my mid 20s.
I've got a 1 1/2 single spring (victor I think) hanging in my shop.  I'd have to look to check that brand.
I'll help you if I can.

Had a remote trap line in Alaska and caught everything from a Weasel to Grizzly bear. Also did some animal damage control work in Arizona and New Mexico and trapped over 40 years so let her rip on some questions if you ever need help, maybe the other folks here and I can steer you in the right direction.

Well done sounds like you're off and running. You may already know this but a good trick for coyote is find droppings from another area different from where you're trapping and you'll trigger their territory instinct. When the resident coyote finds a turd from another he almost takes that as an insult and will stomp all over to mark his scent. Just set next to it and no lure is really needed! Preferably where he has to walk over the set to work it. Look around old two track dirt road intersections or waterholes to collect your scat. These are killer trap sets for old dogs!
