Got mine today

Ordered the "free" covid tests
from the gubmint, and they
came in today.
Haven't used one yet, just opened
things up and scanned over
the instruction sheet.
Funny/sad part was a (either fedex
or postal employee) called and
left a message that the "plane"
was delayed, and it would probably
be a few more days until delivery.
They've been sending text messages
about anticipated delivery blah blah,
and the last one said today. The one
before that said before 9pm Monday.
Another case of one doesn't have any
idea what the other is doing.

Anyone else have their "free" test kits?
( can't help but wonder how many of my
tax dollars it costs to get these made
and sent here to me. . .)

I was sickly for a couple of weeks, but
it wasn't any different than any of the
regular flu symptoms I've ever had.
I figured since the test kits were " free"
and they're gonna give them to somebody
anyway, that I might as well get my share.
God only knows how many tax dollars
I've sent to DC over the years that I'll
never ever benefit from.
I would imagine all those living in the
5 adjacent section 8's to the east got
their kits before I did

If I though I needed a "free" test all I have to do is drive by the hospital and they will hand me one. PS: They aren't free. Taxpayers pay for them just like they do for everything the government "gives" you.

Yes, I realize that. That's the purpose of the
quotation brackets, in this case to show
irony/sarcasm. We supply all the funds for
the gubmint for them to bankroll their
frivolous BS.  I'd as soon take advantage of
some of the "free " things myself as to
have these illiterate hood rats have it.
They can't even read the instruction sheet
and probably try to use the kits to smoke
dope

Wouldn't surprise me if the test kit was made in China. I would trust the results of a test kit about as much as I trust words that come from Biden's mouth.

If there's a place of origin on the box,
it's so small I cannot see it.
There is the stylized "CE" that's easily
seen that I've always understood that
designates china, but I don't know that.
The only other legible origin is Made for
so-and-so pharmaceuticals
Pretty sure it's chinese. Pretty much everything
medical we use as consumers is chinese.
Ironic in a sad way. Malady comes from china.
Test comes from china. USA spends gazillions
to find a shot/cure/preventative. USA gives away
gazillions of taxpayer financed jabs to the
outside world for free when those same taxpayers
are standing on the edge of the cliff.
