Lloyd; did you view the video? If so you would have noted that it had nothing . nada, zilch to do with myself, ! That speaker is a well known street evangelist, named Ray Comfort, preaching in the same manner as Jesus and his apostles did.
..But in any case, you seem to have missed some quite salient points...
1. Was the speaker exercising his 1st amendment rights?
2. Was the speaker there voluntarily?
3. Was the crowd there voluntarily?
4 Were they listening voluntarily?
5 Was anyone holding anybody against their will ?
6. Was it a 2-way conversation?
7. Did the speaker allow..and even invite people to speak?
8. Did the young lady take the opportunity to address/question the speaker?
9. Was a rather large crowd gathered..and did they voluntarily linger?
We are encouraged as Christians, to share the "good news" (Matt 28:19), which is exactly what Ray was doing. So, some don't feel moved to do that..OK..that's their choice..
When you addressed the situation, you suggested that he confine himself to inside the church or some other venue which is not open to the public.
..Pardon me, but now you sound like many now filling the ranks of the Democrat party and th evarious anti-Christian folks..whoever they be..
..Besides, isn't that what various crowds tried to tell Jesus and His apostles, whenever they started preaching in the agora?
Street preaching is the very birthplace of Christianity..Jesus had no cathedrals to preach from..those being edifices built by man in much later years.
Jesus didn't even have a home..a place to lay his head..
" And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head."
(Luke 9:58)
Surely Lloyd, I know you don't want to join the ranks of the atheists and scoffers !
