Anybody Used A RISE ARMAMENT AR Trigger?
«

Got one for a birthday present from one of my boys. I've been tuning mil-spec AR triggers for almost 50 years, and the RISE out of the box wasn't as good as mine.
Took it apart, and did what they should have done at the factory. Now its a good trigger.
Lifetime warranty. Thats good.

Never heard of it but I'm not big on ARs. I only have one and it is equipped with a straight bow LaRue trigger that is MUCH better than stock. I also have a S&W 15-22 and put the same trigger in it. Worked on the stock trigger some but never achieved exactly what I wanted.

ive got a couple of them. There cheap drop in triggers. Easy to install and an upgrade from a mil spec trigger. But not alot better then a milspec with some spring changes or a 2 stage rock river or psa trigger. But for 90 bucks or so there a cheap upgrade. They typicaly give you about a 4lb trigger that isnt creep free but has alot less then a Milspec trigger. For my scoped ars that worry about groups in i actually prefer a 2 stage trigger.

The design ain't bad, but it was a long way from 4lbs. I took it apart, honed the sears, and polished the appropriate parts, and it came out pretty nice.

I really like my hyperfire trigger, about 2.5 lbs, no creep.

I've always tuned mill spec triggers with success, but my oldest son wanted me to have this one. It came with a lifetime warranty and just needed a little TLC.
It more than good enough for coyotes, and other varmints.
