Canada Trip
« on: March 25, 2022, 03:29:02 PM »
A friend of mine called me today, asked if I was interested in a fishing trip  to Ontario this summer. He's had a trip booked since 2020, but delayed due to C-19.  Available this year, some dropped out.  I was a fill-in.  Well, I told him no, I don't have a passport, although I do have two "jabs".  Now I'm having second thoughts about going.  What say you? I live in central Wisconsin, about 8 hours drive from the border in International Falls, MN. I don't plan on getting a 'booster' jab.

What lake is it? We are in same boat so to speak, have a trip that was planned in 2020 that has been plandemic postponed.  I would love to get back there, but unless they drop the vaccine mandate we are not going and I will likely have to eat my deposit.  Passport is easy to get and worth it in my opinion, just not worth getting my kids jabbed...

Well, I ain't had the jabs, and have no plans to get them, so strike one for me.

I've had several opportunities to go to Canada (and Mexico) and have no desire to be under Canadian law in the event of an accident, or something. So strike two for me.

I'm not much help on your question, so thats three. I'm out. ;D

To each his own, but flying into a cabin on a lake full of walleye and big pike and not seeing another human being for 7 days is practically heaven to me.  I'd stay for months if I could...

I live about 60 miles from the border, and sometimes would go up there , just for a Saturday afternoon spin.  There was an old, used book shop in Ft Erie, where I could pick up some old, hard to find volumes.

However, since this whole plandemic game started, and a PP is required, i haven't bothered.

Here we can have a passport included into our drivers license (enhanced license), but I haven't bothered and don't suppose I will.

This border isn't our problem, lawmakers ! How about you pay a little attention to the border which is the problem !
