On a whim I ordered a Mens Grills pressure cooker, aka an Afghan pressure cooker. It is a simple pressure cooker designed to be placed directly on a wood fire or charcoal. I got to use it last weekend to make a beef stew. It worked marvelously well. Once I had everything cut up and packed in, I had a tasty beef stew in 25 minutes. Cooked outdoors on a bed of charcoal.
