Marshmallows or not ?
« on: February 25, 2022, 04:44:09 PM »
. . . In your hot chocolate?

I did about a half hour ago,
but only because they were
in the cabinet directly overhead
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

I don't normally have hot chocolate as
a mandatory thing, but I had a tub of it
here, and I'd already had my 3-4 cups
of coffee earlier, so I thought what the hay.
Same with the marshmallows. I only
had to reach overhead
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

I can do without them. I'm not big on hot chocolate either. Gimme coffee. In fact I'm going to have my afternoon cup in about 30 minutes.

I don't have hot chocolate as a regular
practice,  but there was a tub in the
cabinet and I thought I'd try some to
knock some of the 30 degree temperatures
out of my aching joints. I don't think
it got out of the 30's all day yesterday.
Put the dampness on top of that and
I'm messed up
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

I usually make my hot chocolate with pre measured pouches, running 6oz of water through myKeurig machine.  Sometimes I will leave my last used Keurig cup (coffee) inthe machine, and add a bit of mocha flavor.

Sometimes i have company... my great grndkids and make chocolate the same way..then go to my fridge, and add a heaping teaspoon of Kool-Whip on top of the chocolate.
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

Not in a long time, prolly since I was a kid. Have them on sweet potatoes at times.

I do have a bag at home, will try in hot chocolate soon and report back.
Hold still while I overthink this.

I bought two very large bags of a British hot chocolate at my local clearance store; the directions say to make a syrup with very warm water then add warm milk.

Now I make about 8 cups in a huge coffee cup, I bought at the Mn Renassaince, but I just add four heaping scoops to the cup, fill about one-half way up with simmering water, stir that.  Then I , some times add a flavored liquor or whiskey,  fill it the rest of the way up with whipping cream.
UUUUMMMMMM GOOD. (the other half likes marshmallows o her cocoa, but I only really like them roasted over a fire or in bars.)

A thread about whether to marshmallow, or not marshmallow ones hot chocolate. This would seem to be a conversation one would hear at a "ladies auxiliary meeting" or a "girl scout sleepover". ;D

Thanks Lloyd,  for the manly input to the conversation.  ;D
