Due to Nazi persecution of Jews, Albert Einstein left Germany for the United States in 1932.
Of course this led to the US being the first to enter the nuclear age, and led to our victory in WW2.
Germany was pursuing atomic weapons when the war ended, but their extreme prejudice brought about their failure to complete their mission, bringing about the allies victory and perhaps saving millions of lives. Personally, I believe God also had a finger in those events.
Today we have another such a national treasure, that has been gifted us as an exile from South Africa in 1988.
I do hope America is protecting this super intellect.
