Bought A Couple Of Jenny's For Cattle Security Last Night

Met a horse trader last night at Amarillo livestock auction pens to look at donkeys. Picked out a pair of jennys and bought bought'em. I'll let'em out of the trailer this mornin into the cow pasture to keep the coyotes off our calves. Pretty good looking donkeys I'll take a few pictures when I let'em out of the trailer this morning.
I suspect both are pregnant, so maybe some of the money for'em will come back.

Cool. Neighbors have some for same purpose. They seem low maintenance and not picky about browse. Like IG said, keep us updated.

Turned'em out this morning when I fed. Cows curious, had never seen a donkey. Some of'em learn not to tailgate a donkey.

The 7 year old is now "Daisy", the stand offish one is "Dolly". Today was the first day Dolly let me touch her. Jenny was getting all the carrots.
