Queering the Bible

The PC(USA) which not all that long ago, I was a member of a church that belonged to the PC(USA)  Our church, a number of years ago separated ourselves from the PCUSA because of their movement toward worldly issues, and not adhering to sound doctrine and God's word.
Now a ministry tied to the PCUSA has launched a project to celebrate LGBQT pride month called Queering the Bible.  As we march toward the return of Christ. It will become harder for people to find a church that follows sound doctrine, and the truth of God's word. People will also become more easily deceived.


The apostle Paul repeatedly warned that as the Church Age drew to a close, “…evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived” (2 Tim. 3:13).

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils…” (1 Tim.4:1).

Day by day, as we draw closer to the return of the Lord, satanic influences are increasing, and contemporary Christianity moves further and further away from the fundamental truths of Scripture.

Well, they are wrong.
Nothing in the Bible says it's okay to be a queer.   It says it's an abomination to GOD.   You can't get any plainer that that.

A former friend of Nancy's moved from her long time church to one farther away because her church was preaching that tooting the skin flute was a sin.

Well, they are wrong.
Nothing in the Bible says it's okay to be a queer.   It says it's an abomination to GOD.   You can't get any plainer that that.

Yes they are wrong, but in many churches there is a movement toward accepting homosexuality and transgenderism as a norm.  There are over 9,000 PC USA churches, and the PC USA claims over a million members. Why are so many Christians still a part of the PC USA if this is the direction the PC USA is taking,  The general assembly has denounced Zionism is based on racism. they denounced religious freedom protections. they now accept clergy that are unfaithful in marriage. they accept clergy who are homosexual. they have many pastors that deny the divinity of Christ. They voted to accept homosexual marriages, and allow their pastors to wed homosexuals. in 2011 a survey by the PCUSA concluded that only 19% of its clergy believed that Christ is returning. The PCUSA has sided with Palestine, and rebuked Israel. So yes the PCUSA has lost its way, as many churches across the country are.

  DOn't lose heart, there are plenty of churches that still teach and preach Biblical Christianity, butvdon't look for them among the traditional "big heirarchy'\" churches, but among the local independent, Bible based churches.

   Even Joel Osteen and Rick Warren..who many think are too 'soft' on some issues, must in final analysis, disagree withth ehomosexual movement and lifestyle.

   I had a friend of many years, who has attanded a local Lutheran Church..he recently dropped them and is now with a local evengelical church, since his branch of the Lutherans went gay..
