Found a different scope mounting system for the Ruger SRH's
« on: January 05, 2003, 09:06:01 AM »
You guys may have already been aware of this but I am relatively new to the Ruger scene as I just recently got my SRH.  I have been hearing a lot about the imperfections of the Ruger mounting system and the prep work required to insure a good tight fit.

Here is a link..its an adaptable weaver base that will allow you to use any rings you like.  No gunsmith required.

Let me know what you guys think.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the problem with ruger rings???? I looked at the contraption on the link above and it loooks like you'll have a awful lot of "stuff"on your gun before you get ready to shoot it. Have I missed something here????
Perception is everything. For instance, a crowded elevator smells different to a midget.
