I respect all our founding fathers, for their courage, selflessness and wisdom. However like every man, Jefferson too had his warts.
One example.. He rewrote the Bible to produce what he called "The Jefferson Bible" (available in most libraries), wherein he added things, left things out, and changed others
Now, he had a perfect right to do that, especially since he too, fought for our first amendment.
However, he likely made a fatal mistake... in failing to heed (Revelations 22:18,19).. that warning was given in
second and third from the last verse in the Bible.
Rev 22;
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
