I have a new  MEC 600 Jr loader in 410. I only loaded about 20 shells. when I bought this I paid something like $125 for it?
I am thinking about selling or trading it (contender barrel or handgun scope). What would be a good price to ask for this loader?

I've got one in 20 ga listed in the Classified Forum for $65.  I decided on my price after looking at what they sell for on eBay.  No takers yet so I may have to drop it $5 - $10.  If that does not work I'll post it on eBay since they seem to sell fairly well there.

I just checked ebay and the 410 dies alone are going for around $35-40.
and the loader are over $50 right now.

rickyp - My 20 ga MEC 600jr is in pristine condition.  New bottles, new charge bar, unused powder pushings.  Don't have the original box or manual, but I have the manual in electronic format and could print it out if necessary.

Put it on fleabay. The generally pull $80-$90. Way out of the range I want to pay for one especially since I can get a NIB locally for about that same price.
Just another worthless opinion!!

Rickp if your selling it because the shot keeps clogging in the drop tube and dumping all over when you raise the handle I have a simple fix.  Don't give up on reloading 410's the factory shells are to exspensive.  My Mec Jr. drove me crazy untill I figured out how to get it to stop dumping shot.

not selling it because of any troubles with shot flow. I have had it for about 2 years and only loaded about 20 shells. when I ordered it I was using my 45/410 barrel for rabbit and squirrel. but right after getting it I got some good deals on stuff for my ruger MK II and now it is a great small game handgun so I haven t shot the 45/410 since

Hi Ricky,

I've actually been looking for a good used MEC 600 in .410ga. What would be your asking price? I'm located in Canada, so I have to factor shipping into everything I buy south of the border. Puts a lot of stuff on eBay into the not cost-effective category for me. Thanks, Sean...
