In just a couple of days
« on: August 28, 2024, 06:11:56 AM »
Dove season will be upon us.
Anybody plan on going to give
em a try ?
Unfortunately I'm in the same
sinking boat I've been in.
No place to go, no funds, etc.

If you're going out, where are
you going? Lease? Friends/families
land?
What's your strategy? Sit traditional
spots? Roam around until you find
a pattern?

Good Luck to those going afield
Be safe

Haven't been dove shooting in a lot of years. Have no connections to a place to go and no ability to walk far enough from truck to shoot them even if I had a place to go. Heck I prolly see more doves here at my place than I saw on the last few hunts I did make. I guess it's been 30 years since I last shot a dove.

We were planning on hunting the second weekend of September and had something come up. Fingers crossed the boss lady and I will be able to go the next weekend. We enjoy sitting together, trading shots and giving each other a hard time when one of us misses an easy shot.
