According to FBI statistics, over 10,000 crimes are stopped every year by private citizens using guns to hold off the criminals without firing a shot, or holding them until cops arrive.  Now, in Texas, all the rules to stop this killing were broken.  Cops waited about going in for over an hour.  Door was left unlocked.  No one in the school had a gun or access to one to FIGHT BACK.  This was botched all the way around.  Guns in the hands of good people stop more crimes than the police can. 

Another thing.  So much hate is being taught in the schools and colleges.  Every white person is either privileged, racist, homophobic, machoistic, etc.  That is what is being taught.  This along with too many kids being brought up by single moms with no dad around or father figure.  No respect for authority, God or man.  No respect for elders.  No respect for human life with abortions, killings, etc.

Couldn't find your FBI statistic, and wouldn't consider it reliable, but it's off a good bit over 2 & 1/2 million per year.
