The purpose of this forum is to share information on self sustainable living and related issues. This could cover topics such as supplemental and alternative energy sources, water sources and filtration, supplemental or alternative fuel sources and just about everything related and in between.
The one thing that we will not have is arguing over whose way is better or that kind of stuff so if you have an idea or use a method of doing something please post it but let the people reading it decide if it best suits them and their needs. With as many members as we have I am sure that one or more of us have done or know how to do most anything that one might need to do to survive and live off the grid. Through the sharing of this collective knowledge we can build an information resource that could prove invaluable in the not so distant future thus for that very reason I have decided to start this forum.
I really hope that this will go as I see it and prove to be a great addition to GBO and as the caretaker I will do my best to keep all the information sorted and referenced for ease of use and may even create child boards or sub forums if needed.
