We all admire traditional Christmas Gingerbread House.  Here's a recipe for the modern busy Mom or baker.... :).  ---------->>>>>>

Being alone, I don't decorate anymore, since there seems to be no point at my house.  My so, who lives next door, does considerable decorating in and around the Victorian house, the studio and our barn/garage/workshop.

I did make a cross which is open boxed on each member, lined it with tinfoil and red led lights.  That is now on the second story access door..showing outwards the main street.

IG....
Yes, those sound like the good ones.
Unfortunately, the nearest Aldi's is 70 winter miles from me....
.

Oh Shucks; we need more Aldis, I like to shop at their stores. Although it is not the nearest grocery store to me, I will sometimes travel the extra 16 miles or so, to get to Aldis.

They are a German owned group, and since I lived in Germany for some years, sometimes I like to re-savor (hyphenated word ;D) certain German specialties.

Most of their German made stuff is labelled "Deutsche Kuche"...Translated...... "German cook"..

THeir Deutsche kuche canned soups for instance, are 'old world' and very full bodied..

I never developed a taste for gingerbread. Don't really have a reason except there are things I like better available during the holidays.

Not in love with the German coffee !  ..But then, I didn't care very much for it when I lived there..

However, German chocolate is 'prima' !
