I dodged a bullet..

  Well the lake effect passed over my area, but only added another foot or foot and a half of snow.  Very spotty storm, some places getting several feet while others only several inches.
 
      A friend up in the south towns related a funny experience..  He has a home with attached garage, and once the
 storm settled a bit, he decided to check his garage.  He stepped from his kitchen into the garage and hit the button
   to raise the door.
   He may as well have left the door down..because the snow was even with the top edge of his door.

You are welcome to it. We finally had a little frozen fog this morning and everything was sparkling in the early morning sun. Nice 58 degrees this afternoon and even warmer tomorrow.
