OK, So it's not a revolver but I like to shoot it anyway. It also has very nice wood.

Not a revolver but kinda unusual anyway. It is a Kahnke .50 caliber in satin brush stainless steel.
These guns are pretty much hand made.

Scout Pistol

Hi Jeff,
I like that scout pistol. I wish TC still made them. I did manage to get one in .50 caliber not too long ago. They are very accurate and powerful with the right load. I like heavy conicals in mine.
Best Wishes,
Billy

That Scout is the only gun I ever get out of my hands. I had just cleaned the Scout and had oil on the grips, fired a load of 100 gr. of Pyrodex P and 485 gr. Buffalo. The gun ended up about 10 feet behind me.

I almost let my Scout get airborne myself.

Funny you should mention that Jeff, I almost let my Scout get away from me once under very similar conditions. I managed to barely hang on by my finger tips. It woke me up for shure. It was a heavy dose of Pyrodex P grade under a 405 grain conical. This is also the only gun that ever come close to getting away from me and I shoot a lot of heavy recoiling modern revolvers.
