Most of my driving is done in uniform, with the gun openly carried in a belt holster, but depending on where I am going off-duty, I will often keep a handgun in the car. It's not legal, but unless I am attacked, that gun will never be seen! After 20+ years of working armed, I feel totally naked without a gun. I've also taken to collecting and wearing small, easily concealable knives as backup weapons. The grenades stay in the trunk! :wink:
