I don't want to step on any toes, but if you want to know, it's putting a rubber washer between forearm and barrel at each of the 2 screws. This weekend, however, I proved this to be bull in my case. I have a custom EABCO 6.5-06 Ackley barrel that was stringing shots no matter what I did. I made my own forearm, and bedded the two contact points where the screws attatch to the barrel. I finally tried the rubber washers trick to no avail....then I rested the rear of the forearm (almost touching the receiver) on the front bag. This was my only 3 shots using this technique, and there was a little wobble.
