I've used the 168 gr. Triple Shock in my .300 Wby Sako to hunt whitetail deer. Because I often shoot deer at fairly close range, I wanted a bullet that would be better suited for the high velocity this cartridge produces. Some other bullets I've used weren't up to the task. In other words, certain bullets have opened up so much that even on broadside lung shots at 20 yards or less they failed to exit. I prefer exit wounds.
So far I am completely satisfied with the TSX. It's as accurate as any bullet I've ever used in this rifle and its terminal performance on deer is all I could ask for. I think I've found my "go to" bullet.
