Blue Streak Sight
« on: June 22, 2004, 03:56:10 AM »
I have an older (35 years old) Sheridan Blue Streak.  It was my first rifle and it still works great.  As my kids are learning to shoot with it, I remember their used to be a receiver sight available for this rifle.  The current Sheridan rifles are drilled and tapped for a receiver sight on the right hand side of the receiver.  I believe this rifle is drilled and tapped on the left side.  Does anyone know of a currently available reciever sight that will fit this rifle?  Anyone have one they would like to part with?  Thanks, Jim

I don't recall ever seeing a receiver mounted sight on older Sheridans except for the Williams peep, which mounted on the right side not the left. Benjamin offered a rudimentary peep that mounted on the left side though. It would probably fit an older C-model. Early sheridan rifles, the model A and B, also had receiver mounted peeps.
