Base question
« on: March 25, 2004, 01:00:45 PM »
another scoope I am looking at has only 50 moa total adjustment, I have read that you need 20 moa built into the base to get any distance past 600 yards, my question is this, can you get a 100 yard zero with that much built in moa into the base already? Thanks for any input on this.

.............Yes You SHOULD be able to get a 100yd zero and still have a few clicks left.......the tolerances of the base/rings/scope and action may add up to keep you from getting a close 100yd dead on zero but the ONLY way to tell is try your package and see........but if all is in spec you should get a dead on 100 yd zero......hth..good luck and good shooting!!
