Prior to memorial day mayor Johnson launched a so called safety plan for the city over memorial day weekend. Mostly with youth outreach programs. Last year 50 people were shot and 9 killed. The mayor and his clueless bunch said those numbers of shootings will be lower this memorial day. I read where it was over 60 people that were shot. These stupid people can't seem to grasp the idea that their youth programs and feel good programs don't work at all. Its obvious that their gun control laws don't work either.
Three off duty marines were attacked by around 40 teens, after one of the marines asked them to stop setting off fireworks because they were hit from debris from one of them. Two of the marines were beat on, and kicked while they laid on the ground. The democratic run media hasn't had much to say about the violence in Chicago. Was over 50 people shot, and 11 killed not a mass shooting? Other mass shootings get all kind of air time from the leftist media outlets. The reason being is this was all blacks killing blacks. No white supremacists were involved, and we can't talk about blacks killing blacks, because they are pour, and suppressed by white people. Guess you can say the people of Chicago get, and deserve what they vote for by electing stupid liberals like Lightfoot and Johnson.
