For the historical perspective deprived folks.
« on: June 14, 2023, 01:38:15 AM »
Some of the most adamant Communist supporters in this country, who are usually young and devoid of any historical perspective, here is a short rundown of what happens when Communists take over a country...

When Castro seized power in Cuba, heads rolled..   https://time.com/3641153/the-vengeful-visionary/

A excerpt  from the above article:  "The executioner’s rifle cracked across Cuba last week, and around the world voices hopefully cheering for a new democracy fell still. The men who had just won a popular revolution for old ideals—for democracy, justice and honest government—themselves picked up the arrogant tools of dictatorship"

Russia suffered for years..leading to the "great terror" of 1937:  https://www.history.com/topics/european-history/great-purge
  ..An excerpt from the article:
"The Great Terror of 1937, also known as the Great Purge, was a brutal political campaign led by Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin to eliminate dissenting members of the Communist Party and anyone else he considered a threat. Although estimates vary, most experts believe at least 750,000 people were executed during the Great Terror, which started around 1936 and ended in 1938. More than a million survivors were sent to forced labor camps, known as Gulags."

..And who can forget Pol Pot's "killing fields" ?:   https://alphahistory.com/coldwar/cambodia-under-pol-pot/
  From the article:
"The Khmer Rouge’s social experiments were accompanied by a murderous campaign of political genocide. Anyone suspected of being a potential enemy of the revolution was whisked away, tortured and murdered. Most were killed with pickaxes, their bodies disposed of in mass graves or left in the open to rot.
The first targets were those associated with the old regime: politicians, military personnel, bureaucrats, businessmen, priests and monks."

   Then Bulgaria for example..   https://communistcrimes.org/en/countries/bulgaria

An excerpt:  " The communists began to eliminate their political opponents immediately after the coup d’état in 1944. The Bulgarian policy of terror and intimidation was executed across the country. The mass purge organised by Bulgarian authorities was the most brutal among all USSR satellite countries. In autumn, between 20,000-40,000 people were murdered without any trial. They were, among others, members of local authorities, notables, teachers, Orthodox priests and traders.

..And "little rocket man" has executed hundreds, walking in his father's and grandfather's footsteps:
   https://www.cnn.com/2016/12/29/asia/kim-jong-un-executions/index.html

Keep in mind, he had his own brother executed by chemical in an airport !

Then there is the "Big Daddy" of all the current, "still in intellectual diapers", Commies haunting college campuses.. Murderous Mao himself..
   https://www.cfr.org/article/communist-chinas-painful-human-rights-story

China has a history of murder under communism, and using political prisoners for "spare parts".  and don't forget the great "cultural revolution"
held at his urging.  ...An excerpt below:

"—kangaroo courts masquerading as legal institutions—and lawless, often violent struggle sessions. But, during the brief Hundred Flowers Campaign in 1957, so many criticisms of the party were voiced that Mao abruptly launched the Anti-Rightist Campaign. Millions of officials, intellectuals, academics, and legal personnel were sentenced to what the party called reeducation through labor, a supposedly noncriminal detention that involved years of harsh punishment.

That calamitous campaign was soon overtaken by the chaos of a new mass movement, the Great Leap Forward of 1958–61, which plunged the country into economic disaster and starvation, costing at least thirty million lives. As the PRC was finally recovering, in 1966, Mao opened the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, which pulverized the nation for a decade and killed an estimated three million people and wrecked the lives of another hundred million."

With a history like that, should we believe that if the Commies took over here, it would somehow break the pattern, and be a
   "bloodless revolution"?

What is the chance, seeing the mass hatred they already harbor, for patriots, constitutionalists, Christians and gun owners?

We are following in the communist and fascist footsteps due to lack of proper education and disrespect for God and Christianity.  Look at what they are doing to Trump, only because he is leading in the polls.  They are trying to eliminate their competition.  They are doing the same with DeSantis to a lesser degree.  Any pushback against the fascists agenda, they get "cancelled" attacked, sued, ridiculed, etc.  The media is compliant as they are owned and controlled by facists themselves.
