Interesting music emanating from our un-Civil War

I am not a big fan of music, but some songs do stick with me.  Gospel songs are a big portion of those I do like, but I happen to enjoy martial
  music too.

Both the Union and Confederacy came out with some rousing songs for that interlude.  We have "The Battle Hymn of the Republic"  as well as "Dixie"
leading the pack...and I can be caught humming or singing quietly...either tune.

Among others, there are "Marching Through Georgia" and "The Bonnie Blue Flag"....both highly spirited tunes.

Some were downright humorus...such as "Eating Goober Peas"...   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBOxw6vbDyo

   I enjoy them all..
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)
