Seems totally asinine to me. Of course, any arrest or otheraction by the robot could not stand up in court. So, if it is to be effective, there must be a
live cop in the near vicinity.. On the other hand, if there is no live cop near...what or who will protect the machine from vandals and cop haters?
Obviously, if the robot acts to defend itself..whether lethal or less than lethal...what a court case that will be, when a "robot" decides to
punish or kill an "unarmed citizen"!
