I've known and/or worked with people
from dictatorships, from south america,
southeast asia, eastern europe, etc.
and they'll tell you in half a heartbeat
that this is the finest place on earth.

also some of the most patriotic citizens

  Keep in mind, in Communist countries, few people have cars..consider China and North Korea, while Venezuelans used to own cars, they can no longer afford them..
   Cuba is different however..because they get the opportunity to drive classic American cars..    OK..so that '52 Chevy is covered with patches, and
     has a lawnmower engine under the hood...it's still a '52 Chevy..

How many of them are left nowadays? Five?  China, Cuba, Laos, Vietnam, and North Korea (DPRK). Aside from Cuba, notice that these communist states all fall under the influence of China.

    China has a population of nearly 1.5 billion people.  70% of that would be about 1.12 billion cars...I doubt they have that many cars.

  According to this account, the number of registered vehicles (not personally owned cars only) was 312 million...a far cry from 1.12 billion.

Who even cares how many Chinese have cars, motor bikes, or roller skates.  In no way could it be even near what has been conjectured--unless all the Chinese are  between about sixteen and ninety years old.  Even if each family has several vehicles, there still wouldn't be in the numbers mentioned.  But again, who cares.  I still wouldn't trade even our corrupt, stupid government for theirs.  We can change ours any time--well at least until the massive gun confiscation happens.  If we allow that, shame on us.
