There wouldn't be a problem of discarded
plastics if the justice system would take
the crime of littering seriously.
I've never known anybody that ever
received a citation for littering.

It is a big problem, but not because of
the availability of plastics.
It's a problem of pinhead idiots that
throw things down wherever they get
through with them

More enabling and making excuses

^^^THAT^^..right on !   I haven't seen any given a ticket for littering.  Perhaps raising returnable bottle price to 10 or 15 cents, may induce some
to "do the right thing" or persuade others to pick up after the slobs.

The left complains about the plastic in the ocean...most all of which floats over from the far east... SDo why are they not pressuring China and other far east countries to put a price on plastics to return.

You can't tell me that if plastic bottles had a dime on them, that the poor in Asia wouldn't be collecting them up !
