For those that wish to see Ruger start up a custom shop, it has happened.  While at the SCI show in Reno last week, Ruger had a fine display from their offerings.

It does sound like it is new order only.  I spoke with the head engraver and he said they were not taking previously sold Ruger firearms for work at this time.

On display were a couple of No.1's, M77's, Gold Labels, Red Labels, and a Blackhawk.

I could love a streched out deefield carbine to handle a 444 or 450 marlin.Should make a killer hog and deer rifle. To me it would make the ultimate brush gun.   Digger

A Blackhawk or Bisley Hunter in 357 Mag - It would be hard for me NOT to buy one!

A 10/22 where the bolt actually stayed open after the last shot.

Simple:
A Mini-14 H-Bar
A GP-100 5-shot 41 Mag (or Spl) as well as a 44 SPL
A 96/44 in 41 Magnum

And all of them in Stainless!

Not so simple...it would need to be a 96/41 to be a Ruger 96 series gun chambered in .41 magnum.     I'd like to see one in .45LC myself
I'm kinda surprised we haven't seen one of the larger distributors take this one on.  All that would be needed seems to be a different bbl at least for the .41  Perhaps a letter to the distributors would produce something.  Although, I've heard hat Ruger is already backlogged too much for any non-existing contract guns at present time.

What they need is another plant.

Like to see them bring back the #3 in .480 Ruger, and all the other normal Revolver Calibers including 41 Mag plus the 7-30 Waters and 38-55.

The Bisley with adjustable sights in SS 5.5" in all normal revolver calibers including the .480 Ruger & 41 Mag.

Hey Skandiaman / Turfman

I live in Michigan and a dealer I bought my Ruger 77 from has one more just like it in 35 whelen. Mine is really acurate with Nosler bullets. The only other ones I have tried were the Barnes 200. Not good. It is blued with the ugly Ruger canoe padel synthetic stock. The Gun is brand new they were a special run by Ruger. I bought  a thumb hole stock from Boyd's for mine I kept the ugly one just in case.

Well, I'd buy these just for fun...

96/357
99/357
PC Carbine in .45ACP (PC45?)
A .22LR on the GP100 frame, 8 or 9 shot

I'm also with NH_Hunter on the short action LH 77.
