Has anyone recently used some old CCI primers from the small white box? A friend died and his Son gave them to Me and I have no idea how old they are .

Depending on how they were stored depends on how long they'll last. Might find that out, and maybe give cci a call.

The only ( IMO) way to know
is to pick out a random few
and prime some empties and
run em through and see if
they pop off

I'm still using CCI's with a
$1.56 price tag on the box
if that tells you anything

Good Luck

cci military primers still come in a white box. theyre the only ccis i recall in a white box. but like was said if there old and have benn taken care of there probably fine. i was given some rem large rifle primers that supposedly came from the early 60s and shot the two bricks through my ar10 and they worked fine

I'm currently loading with CCI primers I bought in the early 1990's. They work just find but it makes me cry each time I see those very low price tags on the trays.
Keep them cool and dry and they last a very long time.
