Name the actor and the movie.

Guess old williamlayton and dodgecity got to split the honors on this one.  Good teamwork.  It definitely was John Wayne in his movie version of The Alamo.

Is there any other version of the Alamo?  I can't stomach the thought of the new one (although I will probably go see it) but I know Billy Bob Thorton isn't fit to mow the grass on John Wayne's Grave.

There's one version (not too old) with Jim Arness.

Ya know, tha still aint given any credit to tha brave Mexican boys that went down with them boys from Tenn. or the Company of Mexican boys that was at San Jacinto.
This state, TEXAS is what we're talkin bout, was formed by a lots of folks that didn't begin tha journey in tha U.S. of A. Lots of folks came directly here from Eastern Europe. Lots of German, Slavs and Chek boys what still talk that lingo  round their neck of tha woods. maybe that is why we're set off a little. Sum folks thing we are still a nation.
History, interestingly, only reflects tha view from an American view.
Blessings
SIDEBAR--TEXAS, by GOD, is the onlyiest state what can raise their flag as high on tha pole as the Stars an Stripes.
