I first looked to see if some gasoline was truly better than others 15 years ago; at that time Shell and BP were listed as the top two.
Things have changed.
I have known for a long time Amoco gasoline was crap, but now BP is also listed as one to stay away from as is Speeway.
Chevron is listed as the best on all sites I looked at but I am surprised Costco is on all good lists; Sadly Sam's is on the buyer beware list and we are members of Sams.

Sinclair is no long part of BP, and is list as top line on one list.
I was amazed when I checked some industry lists to see how oil companies/gasoline brands (and refneries) have changed hands in just the past ten years.  8)
