A group of 90 Catholic clergymen, scholars and authors have published a joint letter to "all Cardinals and Bishops of the Catholic Church," urging them to oppose a Vatican document approved by Pope Francis that allows priests to bless same-sex unions for the first time.

In the letter, the Catholic conservatives say that Fiducia Supplicans, a Vatican doctrine released on December 18 and signed by the Pope, would lead to the blessing of "objectively sinful" relationships. They add that the cardinals and bishops should "forbid immediately the application of this document in your diocese" and "ask directly the Pope to urgently withdraw this unfortunate document, which is in contradiction with both Scripture and the universal and uninterrupted Tradition of the Church."...

  From what I have read and observed, I'm inclined to believe you are right, so far as the RC Church is concerned. 

   So, now, where does the 'true church' turn? How do they effect a proper response ? Is a modern reformation in the works?

Well, a lot of people talk about the true church this,  and the true church that, and I don't think most even know what the true church is.

All These denominations have hung their doctrinal hat on one set of scriptures, or another, and all are swearing that they are correct.

As far as the catholic organization I don't really believe that it is a church,  much less the true church. I believe it be a power organization that is about controlling people with a lot of nonsensical dos, and don't that when examined closely make little sense, and are opposite of scripture.
Over the years, I've come to the conclusion that most so-called denominational churches are more about influencing thought and controlling the narrative, while condemning opposing beliefs.

So study your Bible, (a real One), and be careful who you listen to, because everybody that constantly talks about Heaven, God, and scripture, aren't necessarily going there. And that by the way is scriptural.

try a little reading comprehension and quit looking at everything through your hate glasses. by true church i wasnt referring to it as the only church or even the best. by true church i meant the real catholic church and had nothing to do with any other church. ironglow understood it and i think IF you were honest, you understood what i meant too. you hate the way i worship, you hate the way ironglow worships. heck you were or are a baptist and cant even find a single church you like. i think you expect the church to run the way you tell it to and thats not how it works. i wonder what youll be told at the pearly gates about all this hate. i dont always agree with ironglow but ive yet to see him bash fellow Christians and there churches. he has actually read the bible and know thats against the teachings of Jesus. ive done my share of getting angry and bashing someone else's faith. came to the realization that worshiping God in any church helps insure Christianity wont die. i dont know if it will be as dramatic because basically many catholics just want the church a bit more old school. but i think theres a majority number of catholics are sick of this liberal pope and do want change. more of a puging of that bs and getting our church back on tract, not starting a new one.

Synod Doctrines differ; it is when any doctrine  changes God's dogma that it/they become a false religion, i.e. Mormons, JWs.

What is Pope is doing is ignoring God's dogma for his own.
