Savage Customer Service Delivers (eventually?):
After reading some posts on this forum, I called Savage Customer Service and told them my problem with the ramrod from the 10MLII.
Their first reply was "Savage only produces the finest components...blah...blah."
Their second reply was to request my serial number and to claim that it was shipped with the fiberglass (not plastic) ramrod. I offered to mail the ramrod to them and they could determine what it 's made of - which is plastic.
The rep them took my name & address and said they would mail me a new ramrod. We'll see what they send me. I just hope it's not another plastic one!
