Goodbye American business and jobs
« on: March 07, 2024, 04:52:25 PM »
Heard a small snippet of Bidet's SOTU
address. Looking to drastically tax businesses
beyond what they already pay.
The only thing left will be federalized
manufacturing and such, like the
communist countries and dictatorships
have, and you know how "good" that
works out.
I'd sure move my manufacturing away
L.S.A.B. to Indonesia, or meck see ko
or Bolivia or some place like that if the
gubmint wanted to fill their coffers with
my profits. No incentives to be an educated
skilled doctor, or a first rate industrial
engineer, etc. etc.
Not if all your hard work is not benefiting
your own self.
This  is where hiring quotas and 20 dollar
an hour entry level type jobs take us to.
Merit based hiring is what built the nation
along with allowing the talented and gifted
to flourish

Sad sad sad and sad

When a Republic, moves to a Democracy, Socialism and Communism isn't far behind.

That is certainly a sad commentary. Let's hope it doesn't play out that way this time.

Heard a short commentary today about
how expensive it is to eat at McSalty's
now, twenty some-odd dollars for a meal.
Well what did they expect from demanding
so much to work at a minimum wage
entry level type job?
I imagine that quite a few industries
will be leaving and relocating overseas
where workers will work for a fraction
of what people demand here.
Businesses are already boarding up
in those areas where they're being
shoplifted into the red, and many of
the sheep are
outraged that the stores won't stay
open and operate and not make a
profit and endanger employees and
legitimate customers
