I am glad that he was found to be not guilty.
I followed the case just a little bit & one thing stuck out that I would think had a good result for Kelly.
The coroner/forensic pathologist that testified that it could not be proven that Kellys rifle killed the illegal guy. There was no bullet recovered to compare to Kellys firearm. So, there was a possibility that one of the ones in the group of illegals could have shot the illegal dead guy.
No one could testify that Kelly was the actual one who shot the illegal, due to no witness could say they say he was the one who killed the guy & the illegal guys that were there weren't at the trial.
Creating "reasonable doubt" that Kelly killed the guy.
The jury made the right decision based on the evidence & so as far as they are concerned, Kelly did Not "shoot & kill an illegal on his property".
The DA is pretty wise for not pursuing this case any further & dismissing the charges.
He would lose again.
Like I said, I am glad Kelly was found not guilty & is now a free man again.
Take from that what ya want. My opinion of course.
