Several law enforcement officers shot and/or killed..
« on: April 30, 2024, 12:56:19 AM »
Charlotte~Mecklenburg, North Carolina...police apparently ran into an ambush.

         https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/crime/2983724/charlotte-shooting-three-law-enforcement-officers-killed/

     N. Carolina has a democrat governor ....don't know if that has anything to do with it, but Mark Robinson, now Lt. Governor, is running for the job.

Surely couldn't do any harm, were the N Carolina voters to choose Mark.

In case anyone forgot, here's Mark Robinson..   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZSA7QjVT6A&t=51s

From what I understand, the criminal
had an extensive record, and IMO should
have been incarcerated or put to death.
I'm also understanding that some of the
criminal's enabling and excuse making
relatives opened fire on the officers
adding to the carnage.
I've already heard disparaging remarks
about the officers and police in general
today. The most eye opening was one
who said (not verbatim) yeah, I'm gonna
defend my relatives against anybody
who tries to do any wrong to them,
regardless if it's cops or not. I'd have
killed em all too.

People have gone nuts in 2024
The reality sad part besides the death
and destruction is that there are those
who have been trying to warn of the
decline of the nation's moral compass
for years, and got called everything in
the book. Survivalists, racists, nazis,
psychopaths, brown haters, etc. etc. etc.

A large round of "I TOLD YA SO" would
be in order, but I don't know anybody
that would, and it would certainly be
without any joy

The attitude of many across the
country is deplorable.
It's not only young college age
kids. It's old farts and farts in
training like myself.

I can't help but think of a former
acquaintance that was attacked
and rendered the assailant that
was sky high and kicked the door
in at his home and popped off
a couple of wild shots before the
man I knew took him out of play.
The loser's family was of the
opinion that " You murdered our
loved one, and we're gonna get
you if it takes a century "
The room temperature invader
was completely and totally in the
wrong,  no charges were filed and
grand jury declined any. Yet
the family enabled and made
excuses for so-and-so even though
the sh**ting was totally justified
and appropriate
I see similar scenarios on the "news "
almost daily

The legal system is not held responsible for it's actions. It's strictly a pay for play game. A judge that releases a career criminal, especially for violent actions, is as guilty as the offender when he/she commits the next crime. Especially when it's just a short time period between jail and release. Mostly due to, money. Catch and release, more money for lawyers/judges. More work for LE!
We keep trying peace, it usually doesn't work!!Remember(12/7/41)(9/11/01) gypsyman

I know a couple of TDCJ  C.O.'s and
a county jailer some miles south of
here.  Lots of animals shaped like
people incarcerated, but we're all so
weak kneed anymore that we don't
want to do what needs doing, and we
don't want anybody else to. They're
out of sight out of mind and we're
content to go about our daily grind
as long as we don't have to hear about
em or especially see em.
We've enabled and made excuses for
everything that's wrong, and now the
bills are coming due

People with common sense don't
fight with the police, or expect the
police officers to be mixed martial
arts experts. That's why they utilize
less lethal and still have lethal measures
to fall back on.
If a belligerent impaired person is
struggling with an officer, i want the
officer to do whatever is necessary
to subdue the perpetrator.
When they show the family on a
news report crying and wailing
about the poeleece kilt daquan
and daquan was bipolar or messed
up on fentanyl, it's really stupid.
That's why many need to be incarcerated
away from innocent bystanders and
honest citizens
