Sometimes I surf the web,looking up places where I served in the military...just for nostalgia's sake.
When I served at Ft Sam Houston in San Antonio in 1957, I heard stories of how the old Apache chief, Geronimo was held there, because he was
too much a "bad boy" to leave loose on his own.

Then see the Quadrangle (aerial view), the old, original stone fort, where Geronimo was held. When I served there in 1957, there was a small herd of
deer living in the Quadrangle..assisting the lawn mowing operation.
