Got it all stained and added the cork to the bottom and cut-outs for the barrels. Decided to screw the rack to the base from just the outside rather than having through bolts that might mess up the gun stocks.

Now just have to come up with a way to attach the upper box to the end of the cart. Thinking of making a removeable bracket that the box will fit into. Might start that tonight.

I have to say that looks real nice. I patricularly like the disgn of it ...fits together quite well.

For the removable box on back- might I suggest the heavy duty picture hangers that you can get at a good hardware store. They also work for speakers etc. Comes in a pkg of 4 ( 2 up and 2 down) Can send pic of them if needed. Use them all the time for small boxes that need to be removable.
