Getting ready to order an Encore.  Is this a laminate or anyother synthetic?  Thanks

Molded plastic.  The foreend grip is solid and the stock is hollow.  I am happy with mine but after opening it up and seeing the inside, I found myself wondering how come they cost so much.

I suspect a chunk of the money goes to the Realtree Corp.
