Magazines for .22 "Standard" vs. Mk-I?
« on: June 08, 2004, 01:08:37 AM »
I have a Ruger .22 standard. I recently ordered 2 x Magazines, but I got ones for the Mk-I...

They both have the same 9 shot capacity, but the magazine spring knob thingy is on the wrong side of the magazine thus preventing loading.

Did I buy the wrong items, or is it possible to switch it to the other side?

they can prolly be reversed. The new ruger mkII 10 shot mags can be reversed to fit the old ruger standards. Should be able to slide the button all the way down to the enlarged hole area of the groove and the button should come out. If i remember correctly.
