Millett customer service
« on: March 31, 2004, 01:58:09 PM »
For those who don't know, I recently sent a scope back to Millett for replacement due to the power adjustment ring sticking severely. I was a little concerned as I have never dealt with Millett before. Anyway I just got a new BuckGold 3-9X44 today from Millett. I am very impressed by their Customer service dept. I mailed the old scope exactly 3 weeks ago today and already have the replacement scope. First I got a response from Betty Millett by email, then personal service from Kurt in customer service when I called to check on the situation. It's great customer service for what little I payed for my scope. For anyone considering a scope for a muzzleloader (or anything else really) you can't go wrong with Millett.

Good deal, Pat--

Not many people would believe that Millett scopes are brighter / clearer than Burris Fullfield II's for a lot less money------ what do you think?

Brighter, clearer and a little more magnification at 9X than the FFII. I also like the ability to change the little click dials to reflect where the zero is. My FFII doesn't have that. Also from a pure looks standpoint, it looks pretty wicked on the Thumbhole Omega. This one's adjustment ring turns much easier than the previous one I had when it was new so they've obviously made some quality improvements as well. Not a bad scope for what I payed (even factoring in shipping the old one back to Millet). I also think Millett customer service is great.
