Anybody have much to do with the taurus model 62? I got one a while back and haven't had time to shoot it much. Just wondering what to expect from it. Thanks

My son has had his for 4 years. It is the 62C (carbine). It has seen about 1,500 rounds and shoots and functions well. It is also fairly accurate, capable of 1 inch groups at 25 yards with the factory irons. It handles well. I liked it so much I bought a Model 72 a couple months ago.

irndan,
I have a .22 Mag. model 72 with a 23" barrel and it has cost the lives of many a groundhog.

Very reliable and accurate.

Like any other rimfire, you'll have to feed it several brands of ammo to find out what it likes best. I've had Marlins that like Winchester, but my Taurus likes PMC ammo.

Good hunting, Bowhunter57
