Every since I was a kid with a BB gun I have taken wildlife calanders and used them for targets. They usually have a lot of different animals at different positions, straight on, quartering, broadside, partially hidden behind a tree or bush ect. It helps to see where you should hold and get a clean shot. I still use up my old calanders that way. Sometimes with an air rifle but more often these days with a 22. It beats just shooting bulls eye targets.
