What is the "perfect" game animal?

Howdy boys,
Does it fly or run on all four?
Bow, shotgun, rifle or pistol?
Meat, trophy or both?
Easy to find or rare?
I tend to go with the good ol' whitetail, cause is does it all (except fly.. )
Good shooting!

My vote is for the old gobbler.Reason being,he has only one weakness.............his sense of smell. It a turkey could smell as well as a whitetail, whither you like to admit it or not,we would never kill one. Rick

My vote is the Canada goose.
They are:
1. Big
2. Wary
3. Beautiful
4. Can shoot three a day (in Oklahoma)
5. Three month season (in Oklahoma)
6. Hard to hunt
7. You can hunt with your friends and actually talk to each other.
8. You can have the thrill of watching your dog retrieve one.
9. Easy to clean
10. Look good mounted
11. Sound awesome when flying
12. Can shoot with shotgun (my favorite firearm)
13. Require skill and scouting
If you can't tell they are my favorite game animal.
My second vote is the Specklebelly, then the Snow Goose.
I love waterfowl hunting.

I'd have to say coyotes because:
1. Excellent eyesight.
2. excellent sense of smell.
3. Excellent sense of hearing.
4. Smart, wary, and wiley.
It's true that people shoot them out of pickup windows all the time from roads and such, but I like to get out into their territory and call them on their terms.
There's nothing more exciting than having four or five predators come charging into your calls

The Perfect game animal;
Walks on two legs. (hopefully)
Smells purdy.
Flys with a ticket.
Smart, wary, and wiley.
Good to eat.
Makes gun stand at attention.
Their only drawback is they are expensive to stalk and mount!

Good one JR. I've hunted a many of them on a catch and release mind set.
Predators would have to be my number one choice

JR,
I...er...but....Well I known what you're saying.
However...
I have always thought that squirrel hunting sharpened my skills more than anything else I did.
